In 2018 I picked up airbrushing as a new artistic medium, but my journey with visual art began long before that. As a teen I was captivated by graffiti and it quickly developed into a hobby which to this day, continues to be an integral part of my creative expression.
Additionally, I have always been passionate about hockey—from playing and watching the sport during my childhood to admiring the intricate designs of the goalie masks worn by the NHL's top goalies. The creativity and artistry displayed in goalie mask art has always inspired me, even before I became an artist.
When I discovered airbrushing, I realized it provided the perfect avenue for me to fuse my passion for hockey and art together; by painting goalie masks. I began practicing on second hand masks and eventually landed a few commissions, which led to my recognition by renowned local airbrush artist Joey White. Under his wing, I received invaluable guidance and expertise that helped me rapidly progress and hone my skills.
Each new project I take on is an opportunity for me to push the boundaries of my creativity. My ultimate goal is to produce high-quality work that captures the spirit and individuality of each client, whether it's through painting goalie masks or other airbrushed artwork.
